Get a plastic 'Y' from a parts shop. You will need to cut the vacuum line to the original boost gauge. Watch for oil in the line.
First, determine the location where you want the pod mounted. Mark it with a pencil, for example.
You will have to remove the 'A' pillar cover. Remove the upper trim cover above the doors and then the 'A' pillar cover. The grab handle is removed by gently prying off the insert and the screws can then be removed. Pop off the two covers by the drivers seat.
When I mounted my pod on the 'A' pillar cover, I used four sets of nuts and bolts. I didn't paint them. You could take the cover to a paint shop and get a quart of paint mixed to paint the pod. I did that on my V70GLT, not the 740T.
You can also use power from the dash lights or lighter light to power the boost gauge light.
The vacuum line and power line can be routed to the new pod location. You will have to remove the lower dash cover.
Take you time and you can do it.
