Fuel Injector Compatability

I have a 1985 740 non-turbo. My donor car is a 1987 760 Turbo wagon. One of the injectors on my 740 is bad. How much difference is there between the injecotrs on the turbo vs. non-turbo? I recently cleaned the injectors on the 740 and noticed that one had the tip broken off. There is voltage to the injector but disconnecting it makes no difference in the idle. I replaced the intake gasket which had a leak and while the idle is better there is a noticable miss until the rpm's increase dramatically. Should I just buy a new injector or can I put one of the injectors off the turbo?
