Console differences 700 1989

Some little pixies removed my CD player last night apparently with a hatchet and a hydraulic jack by the damage they left and I was wondering if there is a difference between the front parts of consoles ( where the radio mounts ) with the soft vinyl between years and auto/standard I have an 89 with M47 5-speed and I know the pull a part places only have older ones with automatics.
