940 air ventilation seal

The ventilation doors have foam seals that degrade over time. Hence you get a poor seal and air will enter even when "off". While you could have a faulty vacuum door, I suspect the former. The cabin has a natural vacuum caused by rear air vents that pulls air through.

This may motivate you to solve the oil leakage! Where is it?
