AC blower 700 1991

My 91 740 Turbo is acting up again and I'm looking for some help from anyone who can help. Since I bought this car back in 95 it has this problem that when I accelerate pass 65mph the AC blower seems to shut down and quits blowing cold air. The deal once told me what it might be (I don't remember what it was) and that it would cost at least $500 to repair so I declined at the time due to the cost. My other problem is getting rid of the SRS light. I did try shorting it out through the fuse box but it did not work, didn't even blink like it was supposed to. Any help I can get will be appreciated.
