It's not a Brick, but any thoughts?

After battling with my wife over getting her into a Volvo, I have decided not to waste my breath any more. Despite my best effort, she still resists them. Oh well. So she is intersted in a Jeep Wrangler. I have heard many bad things about these in terms of their durability. I know the old CJ's were money pits, but haven't heard too much about the newere models. Anybody here have experience with them or know where I can get info on them?? Any major problems with them that we should be aware of?? Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
