Help with speaker wire colors on 1991 240

ok, got the speakers worked out... but it's strange.. there are TWO heavy guage black wires leading from the oem radio plug. Is one maybe the common ground for speakers? I'm not sure which one to use for the radio ground.

this much i know:

red: antenna up
Green: constant +12
yellow/black: ignition +12
brown: dash illumination dimming

that leaves two thick black and a white/blue unaccounted for... I'll be dammed if i can figure out how you drive two speakers and ground the system , all with just three wires. weird man, just weird.
