Update on radiator - 745T - JB Weld - replacement.

Thanks for all the input on the radiator problem I had over teh 4th weekend.

We did a JB Weld on the top hose connector, and it held - BUT - we kept getting a leak. Finally found that there was another crack right behind the connector (not where we repaired).

Anyway - Monday - I am off to Atlanta to get a new radiator. Picked it up, brought it back - wrong one. Went back again (1 1/2 hour trip) - they finally found a match for the old one I brought with me - turned out to be for a 940. That's just like Volvo.

Anyway - great match. All is well. I am glad that I did not try to drive with the leak.

One thing my mechanic told me later - NEVER TRY TO TIGHTEN AWAY A LEAK on a ten year old radiator. That is what I tried to do and it broke.
