Shimming for front end alignment 700

I have heard of grinding out the mounting holes if installing strut braces, to correct "creeping" in of towers of older cars, correcting any alignment problems. I didn't have a problem with this, but was warned on installation sheet for the tower braces. (From Cherry/IPD).

I was also told by a good tire shop that they would have to get different length radius rod to correct camber! Who knows!!
