You drain the radiator by pulling the lower hose at the raditaor connection.
You drain the block via the draincock that is between the 3rd and 4th pipes of the exhaust manifold.
My advise is to get a 4 ft piece of 1/2" dia plastic hose and have it ready to slide over the open end after you open it and direct the coolant flow into a bucket or jug under or outside of the car. (Coolant tastes sweet and is a frequent poison to dogs/cats/deer).
The cock opens with a small crescent wrench or socket in a counterclockwise direction (Righty tighty/Lefty loosie).
Naurally due to its location, do it first thing in the AM after the engine has cooled overnight or wrear welders gloves! Seriously...manifold heat can easily cause 3rd degree burns without skin to metal contact! I wear a kevlar sleeve plus kevlar welders gloves when I have to work near a hot manifold.
