Borge Turbo Gas vs. Bilstein

I had the Boge Turbo gas on an '81 and an '85 (240s). I currently have Bilsteins on a '93 245.

The feel is much different. The Boge's gave a very "connected to the road" sort of feel. The Bilsteins are firm, but at the time give "velvety high quality" sort of feel. Not sure how much of this is differences between the cars.

On the whole, I'd say the ride quality with the Bilstein's is better. I have no complaints with the ride with 70 series tires. However, part of me feels that the Boge's had a slight edge in handling due to that "connected" feel.

Sorry if this makes no sense. To put it differently, I find that the ride and preciseness of handling of the 240 with Bilsteins is better than my newer S70.
