No start! All warning lights on dash light when key turned...HELP! 700 1989

I jiggled the gear shift and it started. Made the mistake of shutting it off and it wouldn't start again. Must be the safety switch. Are they a pain to replace? Can I do it from the car's interior or will I have to get underneath?
