B16 Backfire 444-544

My brother had a 1961 122S powered by B-16 with H4 SU's, from '62-'65, and it would keep on running for 4-8 seconds, erratically, after it was shut off. It ran very well otherwise and was nearly new. He "cured" the run-on by having the trans in 4th gear and the brake on when switching it off, and stalled the engine by engaging the clutch partway.
