A/C Repair

My '69 P1800 has dealer installed air conditioning, but it's unfortunately non-functional. It appears that there was a meltdown at some time (perhaps electrical fire) in the cabin component. Any chance of having this repaired or should I just scrap it and live with the humid St. Louis summers>
