John, I didn't see your other post until I already re-posted.

Question: I can see the "windows" in flexplate after taking out rpm sensor.
Should I see a blank (solid) spot when at tdc on 1?

Would this be easier than taking out starter?

I don't recall seeing this mentioned on anything I read about main seal replacement. My bad. This was a major PITA the first time, about 10 hours, but should only take about 6-7 hours now that I've done it once.
