A little twist on the O/D switch problem S90-V90

The light is controlled by the relay so the problem is almost certainly in the relay. What you described is typical of an intermittent relay in that it can act in an unpredictable way. Resolder it.

Dip stick has a rubber O ring seal at the top which stops fluid from running up the tube to register on the stick. For the fluid to run up the the air must escape. Pull stick, releases the seal, fluid runs up to level and then shows on the stick.

Can,t explain why it shows overfilled.
