I recently replaced the ones on MY 1971 145. I had a problem with the holes not lining up and was about ready to blow the whole thing up with dynamite when my neighbor walked by and suggested I simply turn the steering wheel. It worked! the car canted over while the jacked-up engine stayed put and the holes lined up perfectly. Never doubt the advice of a passing female motorcyclist.
