That will be a K block engine with the improved crankshaft. To the best of my knowledge the connecting rods were upgraded to 13mm as a running change early in the 1989 model year. The only way to determine which connecting rods you have is to pull the pan and inspect. If you need a set of 13mm connecting rods, I have two sets which I will be selling.
