Check a manual if you have one -- this is from memory...
Jack up front to get wheels off the ground.
Start engine and slowly turn from one extreme to the other (don't hold either extreme for long).
Doing this several times should purge air from the rack. Have someone else at the wheel and you may be able to see bubbles come back into the reservoir.
Top off fluid if/as required and road test again.
