Another fine example of applied ingenuity made necessary by the late hour on a Sunday. Your description is great.

Now, for next time, if you need to go out to buy the 4x4, you might be in the same store you can find these parts, for about the same price (I paid $12 for channel and hook) as long as you aren't dealing with the everything is closed and I don't have time to make a trip anyway Sunday night deadline. Sorry if you've already seen my frequent post of this...
