They will run, with the AMM unplugged. However, when you give the car a lot of throttle, or accelerate for a period of time, the computer will eventually shut the engine down. It may stall; it may recover. Normally though the idle is OK.
I would go through everything in the fusebox again. If you were in there adding a wire, you could easily have pulled a wire off fuse 4 or 6, or bumped a corroded fuse enough to cause no contact, or even broken a terminal. Might have shorted something- sometimes it's tough to see a minor crack or burn in a fuse. Inspect them all, and save yourself a lot of aggravation and expense.
Also, have you ever replaced your fuel pump relay? These cause a lot of headaches at random times.
