Another strut question 700 1988

Bill, my post is below yours regarding strut noises. I too am having that same situation. Took it a part and reassembled but still there. I also have a rattle. I wasn't sure if I was missing a washer or something. One poster suggested adding some thick washers under the strut nut to pull the cylinder up tighter. I will try that to see if it helps...
