It is likely that you will break clips, but when I did mine, I only broke a couple. Why do you want to remove the trim? Unless it is absoloutely necessary, don't do it.

If you determine that it is necessary, use something to gently pry the trim away from the car- I actually just pulled on it and it poped out, but I wouldn't recomend that. Just be careful not to bend the chrome.
