I think I found it - thanks everyone.

Looks to be a small crack in one of the wires. I clamped it together, and tthe car's running like before. Hopefully it will hold till next week when I can afford new wires and do my tune up. She's holding for now, anyway.

Thank God it's a cheap fix this time, huh? Who is the patron saint of Bricks, and how do I thank him/her??
