engine belt S90-V90 1997

i've recently purchased a 1997 s90, the records show the "engine belt" was changed at 84,000 miles. would this reference be to the timing belt or the belt that runs all the other stuff? i was planning to change the timing belt but didn't want to leave this interpretation up to someone who is looking to make money on repairs i may not need.
