Your car has the LH Jetronic electronic engine control system, and also a computerized ignition control system. There is not a mechanical idle speed control, the computer does that.

Check all the fuses, including the 25 amp fuse mounted on a rail with other electrical things on the LF fender inside and behind the battery. If you are lucky, it's just a fuse, not a fried computer.
