As it happens, a friend from oregon is in a pretty bad state,
life wise, and is in need of a car. I figure it is perfect for
her and after it rots away the rest of the way she probably won't
have a hard time finding someone who wants the rest of it for
parts, oregon being a pretty volvo friendly place, right?

I would probably have kept it except that my other 2 volvos
really don't have enough in common with it to merit gutting.
After all, between a 68 145, 70 164 and a 73 142, the 164
doesn't really have much to donate to the others, at least
not much that's nice on the 164 that the others could use.

Really the point is moot as to what to do with the car -- a
friend needs it and this is pretty much perfect for what she
needs. Hopefully she can find someone in oregon who knows how
to adjust the points on an old volvo...
