Hi stefan

I hear that the 90 740se turbo(the one fitted with a factory body kit) in the states has a M47 gearbox fitted there is a couple people own them on the Turbobricks message board. As long as you run good quilty oil there is no problem with the M47 boxes

PS I am looking for a 740ti at the moment( one seller stuffing me around at the moment) when I get one. I have a M47 plus all the parts (minus the turbo flywheel)to convert a 740 to a manual(manual 740 are very rare in Australia) if If damage the M47 I have a volvo 5 speed M51cr getreg box to go in
