Here's my two issues. (89 240 Dl Wagon) First I would like to found out if my O2 sensor is bad. The car was warmed up and running... I unplugged the two-wire electrical harness and probed the positive and grounded the black. On the right side of the two sockets I got over 13.5 volts. On the left side I got -.007 (I did increase and decrease throttle for readings...same -.007) I also took off the green-to-black wire and tested that and recieved a steady .58 volts or so. Judging from this is my O2 sensor bad. The book says I should get between .01 and .09 acceleration.
Second of all I had a blowout and my car lost control and I hit a guardrail with the driver's front bumper. I've fixed the cosmetic damage but the car puls to the extreme right to the point I will drift over if I get too relaxed. I have checked the tie-rods and they are not bent. When I went to get an alignment the guy told me I might have frame damage etc. and that he may not get the car running exactly straight. My question is what could have gone wrong. The axle seems fine and everything looks ok. What should I look for. Sometime told me that my tie-rods could have gotten pushed into the cambers or whatever that holds them in place even though the bolts haven't moved. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks
