OIl filters

Friends up there tell me Canadian Tire filters are sourced from Fram (Honeywell), whatever the branding. In the US, Quaker State filters are made by Purolator (Arvin Meritor) while those CT sells are Fram.

Check for cardboard endcaps which almost always means Fram. (though a very few Purolator Premium models also use cardboard/resin budget caps.)

Consumers aren't supposed to notice. Stop looking behind the curtain or The Wizard will become angry.
