Just replaced my tranny with a used one. Old one was definately gone. New one (used) has no 4th gear. Shifts perfectly through all other gears. Checked solenoid by removing it and blowing air through it with a pice of tube with the voltage off and no air while connected. made the bridge accross the burnt copper on the relay board. Checked the fuse. I even connected the solenoid directly to 12v with no luck(Just to make sure I was not thinking backwards). Replaced the wire from the shifter to the solenoid. I have no more ideas. Never even shifted into OD when cold. Probably not the OD seals. Where are the OD seals? I don't want to switch to ANOTHER tranny. 6 qts of fluid added to the new tranny. Is this the right amount? Help!
