Power Source for Low Coolant Sensor Buzzer......Better Place than Coil Needed

I set up low coolant warning lights on all of my Volvos. On both the 340's and 740's I run a wire from the fuse panel to the light I add to the dash. From the light I go through the firewall to the float switch and from the float switch to ground. The circuit remains open as long as the float switch is held open by the coolant. If the level drops the switch closes and the warning light comes on. Running from the fuse panel also fuses the low coolant circuit.
