Perhaps you saw my post on Thursday concerning my Nissens experience. About three years old. 745T well maintained sytem running Zerex green changed a year ago (I always flush and change antifreeze at least every two years). Leaking where a tube was soldered into the plate. Shop tech pointed out a number of other tube junctions with small leaks that had crusted up. I didn't bother to have it repaired after I saw how it was breaking down overall. What a POS. I happened to have a nearly new CSF radiator on the shelf from a lucky score at the pick and pull. It is only a two row but I put it in and so far it seems fine. Ironically it was the CSF brand the shop tech recommended for a replacement as they have a lifetime warranty that he said they honor no questions asked. He has had to replace two on warranty for owners like me that keep their cars for years.
I'll see how it does but if I had to get a replacement today I think I would go back to the aluminum/plastic original which is good for 100,000 of troublefree service. Their cost and a new CSF are about the same.
