Here's something to consider. If you'd like to add the turbo-style 3 gauge panel, you can get a mounting plate to put the new stereo at the bottom of the dash, in front of the shifter. That's how I did it in my 87 245. Crutchfield will include either of the mounting plates with a stereo purchase, or you can buy it separate.
