HELP! Fuel tank problem 200

I do mean those 2 wires...i think. I started the car afterwards and it seemed fine, but no fuel gauge. It ran for about 30 seconds without a problem.Im pretty sure those were the only wires coming from the tank but ill check again tomorrow afternoon after work and let you know.
