Just a suggestion: Check the condition of the distributor. My stalling problem on a 150k mi '88 760T turned out to be a combination of fuel injection relay (the one that powers the injection computer) as well as the signal wire out the back/bottom of the distributor. If the part where that wire attaches is all loose and jiggly, that could be causing it. The thing tends to work even when it's full of oil, but once that connecter starts to get loose it seems that it shorts it to the housing....though that may not even be your problem at all.
