UPDATE: I gave the wrong info re: exhaust direction...the following is true:
When I hit the gas, exhaust sucks IN
On deceleration, exhaust blow OUT

But, did check cam...and it's dead on...no extra holes.
Tried moving timing belt 3 ahead 5 back, 2 ahead...
Nothing, solved the problem.

still stumpped, sorry I put the wrong info out...hope this correction will jog something
