With yours, there is no Hall sensor in the distributor- rather you have a crank sensor (rpm sensor) mounted on top of the transmission, looking at holes in the flywheel. I'd expect this is starting to go bad. They're $40-ish from various suppliers.
Replace it soon, it's cheaper than 1 tow. Good luck!
