Which thermostat to install (different temperatures)?

Chris -

(1) Is the thumbnail a self-portrait? Your Volvo tech after you fixed it? Just curious.

(2) Thermostat. Get the high temp one, it's 92C I think. In the winter you'll be glad for a tad more warmth on the feet. In the summer the higher gradient in temp between the radiator coolant temp and the ambient air temp will make heat removal work just fine, maybe better than the ,ow temp unit would do..

From other BBRD posts, I understand that the low temp unit, 87C, is for turbo cars.

Good Luck,

Bob
