Test-Resistor for SRS: necessity ? 700 1990

The test resistor will tell you if the problem lies in the airbag. You don't need it to reset the system. The resistor is cheap(about 15.00.) If you're going to mess around with the system, for safety's sake get the green SRS manual from Volvo. It goes into detail on troubleshooting and, more importantly, it has the safety procedures. Money well spent.
