SU for a 142 140-160

I have a couple of extras I took from a '69 142 several years ago. They're the same type as the ones on my '67 122, so I assume they'll be ok. I think they should be rebuilt first, though. I'll need to check again, but it seems that there's some play where the shaft goes throught the throat of the carbs. Needles, seats,etc. are o.k.; no wear. Incidentally, is it a pain to rebuild the carbs, or to put new bushings in, anyway?
