Plug fouling 140-160 1970

Matt,
In your situation (well, with a B230/Solex combo, not B20/Weber) I had great success simply switching to hotter plugs. All plugs have their self-cleaning temperature, more on that on NGK's web site. For my engine and with my kind of driving (short trips) going from "6" to "5" in the NGK range took care of the problem. I am not sure, but I believe the Bosch scale works the other way (higher number = hotter plugs).

Erling.
