I'll take a crack at one and two, because I've owned B23F cars and your questions also puzzled me reading the manuals.
One, The Chrysler Ignition: My conclusion is the ignition modules used with LH2.0 and LH2.2 (83-88) injected are all Chrysler design. But there is a Chrysler distributor too, with the large white cap. Otherwise, I believe the distributors are Bosch built and all versions employ a knock sensor. Out on a limb here, as I haven't been to Collyfornya lately. The CIS function is done from inside the ECU on these, using the same kind of idle valve as is used when CIS is part of K-jet or carb engines... But it is very confusing when folks speak of Chrysler ignition - do they mean Chrysler distributor, MPG, or just anything 83-88 US production LH Jet.
Two, I believe the harness comes made for sedan or wagon. If you had a wagon, there'd be a second washer pump with a line all the way back to the rear window.
