Should I carry a spare Clutch Cable?

In all my years (and I have a lot of 'em), I've had ONE clutch cable break on a '75 245. It was rush hour, middle of Boston, back around '88.

Fortunately, I know how to drive a standard without a clutch -- even in traffic, even in reverse, even in a parking garage. Even in my sleep.

Not a bad skill to learn and maybe more useful than a spare clutch cable. (How are you going to install a replacement when you're headed home from work someday in the middle of a city and it's pouring out?)
