B20 waterpump question 140-160 1974

John, that's what I was doing. But when I held the pipe square to the water pump hole - and it did slide all the way in judging by the o-ring, there is no way the hole in the bracket would line up with the bolt hole in the water pump. Straigthening the bracket/tab thingie may work, I hope. I'll try again tonite.
