hello there i would stay away from the 16 valve and the 960. and go with the 940 turbo the engine is possible one of the best ever. that is my mechanics choice also . he has 16 years with volvo. the turbo on my 1990 740 was going bad when i sold it at 176,000 miles. o yea i dont take my car to volvo i take it to his house for the real price.good luck. 65 244 163.000 86 244 108,000 87 245 broken odo.
