Just the agony of having done that to an overhauled engine must have convinced the PO to sell.

Even though most of us bricksters can get at least one leg down to the ground through the engine compartment, there are other defects even savvy owners can overlook while blinded by the straight body and smooth paint. An inspector provides a new perspective for very little cost.
