Yeah, your tires are larger than stock. So that makes it hard to compare the height at the jacking point to that of other cars. But assuming you have the same size tires on all 4 wheels, then comparing your front to back is good science.
I had the same experience as Brian with my 945T. Changed the front springs, and the front dropped about an inch. I need to correct the same issue on my "new" 945T -- I just haven't got around to it yet.
