Radio issues. 700 1989

You need to get to the back of your radio and check that your speaker wire connections are still sound and firmly in the set. Depending on what sort of set you have. If the speaker wires are still in the back of the set, then check the wiring to your speaker/s. Hopefully you'll have found the problem by then. If not, run a new speaker wire or a pair of wires if it's stereo, directly from your radio to a speaker. If you still have no sound, try the other speaker.
If you still have no sound then your radio has a fault, as the chances of both speakers going are pretty slim. Sometimes there is another 'in line' fuse between the power feed wire from the car to the radio. Have you checked this?
