I would try a new ignition power stage. That's the little oblong module in the left front fender over the battery. A new one can cure all sorts of ailments. They're difficult to test, so replacement is the only way to be sure. It's probably also worth looking at the wiring at the bottom of the distributor but that problem usually causes stalling/dying/no starts.
Also good idea to just replace the plugs and cap and rotor to make sure the ignition is in top condition (if you havent already).
